ERA’s annual show in Las Vegas for the direct-to-consumer industry will feature new opportunities for networking and education.

When members of the direct response industry gather in Las Vegas Sept. 13-15 for the 2011 ERA D2C Convention, they will notice new opportunities and old favorites at the leading show for the direct-to-consumer industry. Returning to the Wynn Hotel, the D2C Convention will highlight ERA’s commitment to its members and the industry as a whole. The theme of this year’s show is Face2Face, which ERA President and CEO Julie Coons says underscores the importance and value of networking at D2C. “This is the industry’s chance to meet face-to-face and conduct business. It is about gaining access to industry leaders, business opportunities and the industry as a whole,” she says. “We also underscore the importance of the show in the DR industry as ‘the one show for direct-toconsumer marketing,’ which is a continuation from 2010. This underlines the significance of the show related to other industry events.” Attendees will have a chance to conduct meetings and network Monday

and Tuesday, as well as before the show floor opens on Wednesday at the Meet & Greet Lounge, a new feature of this year’s event. The idea came from the successful Meet & Greet Lounge at The Great Ideas Summit in New Orleans this past February. “This industry depends on relationship building in order to grow their businesses and that’s exactly what ERA delivers. The D2C Convention is where partnerships are forged and deals get made,” Coons says. Also new is the D2C Learning Lounge, which is designed to provide
