Safety Stand Down Week The Georgia Struck By Alliance will be holding a Safety Stand Down the week of Nov. 7. This year, a week has been set aside instead of a single day, giving contractors more fl exibility and opportunities to participate. The goal of the Safety Stand Down is to stop work for 30 minutes to an hour to talk to employees about the risks of struck-by accidents. Registration forms and an outline for the struck-by toolbox talk will be sent out to the membership when they become available. ● E.R. Snell participates in the 2010 Safety Stand Down at a jobsite at Lawrenceville Highway and Beaver Ruin Road.
