Recognizing Excellence in 2010
he HRIA’s Celebrating Excellence Awards Program offers an opportunity to recognize those outstanding HR professionals, who are committed to the pursuit of excellence and continue to make contributions to the HR community. In 2010, HR professionals from across the province gathered to celebrate and recognize the outstanding achievements in human resources in three award categories. The Rising Star Award is awarded to an HRIA member in the first five years of his/her career who demonstrates great promise as future leaders in the Alberta HR community. The Award of Excellence is awarded to an HRIA member (individual, group or team) who plays a key role in driving the performance and reputation of an organization and serves as a trusted advisor on organizational strategy. The Distinguished Career Award is awarded to an HRIA member who has made significant contributions to the advancement of the human resources profession in Alberta. It certainly was a night to remember especially with the paparazzi greeting attendees. The success of the program is not possible without the help from our volunteers, nominators and sponsors! Congratulations to the 2010 recipients!
