featurestory EXCITING FIELD SEASON Ahead for Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. T ri Origin Exploration Limited believes the best place to fi nd new ore deposits is in the vicinity of producing mines and has therefore chosen to maintain a significant presence in well-known gold-producing districts. It is focused on the exploration of early-stage, 100%-owned, district-scale properties in well-mineralized regions and to this aim, it is preparing for another busy field season at its three main projects in Ontario: Red Lake Extension (RLX), located near Red Lake, Sky Lake, located southwest of Pickle Lake, and North Abitibi, located north of Kirkland Lake. Tri Origin is particularly pleased to have Osisko Mining Corporation as a new exploration partner on the Red Lake Extension property. Red Lake Extension Project Tri Origin is very excited about its Red Lake Extension Project which is contiguous with Goldcorp Inc.’s prolific Red Lake Gold Mine property. The project is located only 15 kilometres from Red Lake, one of the richest gold districts in Canada with over 20 million ounces of gold produced. Although it is located right next door to the Red Lake Gold Mine property, the 121 square kilometre property was not previously explored for gold. Th rough ground exploration, Tri Origin has identified and is drill-testing targets that are extensions of the important gold-bearing rock units that host the Red Lake Gold Mine. Osisko Mining Corporation has recently optioned the RLX property and may earn 51% interest by spending $5 million in exploration.
