Sustainability Point of View

Class in Session
NEWH presents two inspiring sustainable
CEU webinars
By Dina M. Belon

The NEWH

Sustainable Hospitality Committee
announces the return of Green Voice Conversation webinars,
beginning Friday, September 26th. These live sessions, sponsored
by JLF/lone meadow, Global Lighting, Northwest Hospitality
Carpets, and Valley Forge Fabrics, will feature two CEUaccredited panel discussions-one in the morning and another in
the afternoon-suited to a wide audience of architects, interior
designers, purchasing agents, hoteliers, and industry suppliers.
Now in its third year, Green Voice continues to grow in scope and
popularity. Th is year's webinars spotlight six industry experts
actively involved in sustainable practices across many facets
of hospitality, lodging, dining, and business. Moderators and
panelists will lead attendees through two conversations covering
sustainable principles and practices that impact the hospitality
industry from their range of perspectives.
The entire series is $20 for NEWH members (and includes two
CEU credits) and $40 for non-members. As always, webinars are
free for students and educators. Speakers will be sharing their
real-world experience with responsible sourcing and how to
deliver guest-centric sustainable design.
