San Francisco Bay Area

The chapter launched its annual membership drive with a
Nob Hill hotel tour of three recently renovated iconic San
Francisco properties-one of its biggest events to date. It
held a meeting at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins then

toured both the Fairmont San Francisco and the new Scarlet
Huntington. Each project's designer spoke before the tours
and were on hand in the rooms to answer questions about the projects.

The chapter's 9th annual golf tournament took place
in August at the Lionhead Golf & Country Club. The
tournament sold out once again and more attendees
joined in the evening for dinner and a silent auction
featuring more than 120 items for bid.

Atlanta

In June, the chapter celebrated its annual bowling tournament
and fundraiser with a new theme: Color Me Bowled. Each team
selected a Pantone color that was used to create coordinating
costumes and unique team names. This year the event
raised more than $5,000 that will go directly to the chapter's
scholarship account, and also benefitted the Atlanta Humane
Society (AHS). To spread awareness about animal rescue and
pet adoption, each lane had a mascot-a pet currently up for
adoption. The chapter also collected items such as dog treats,
leashes, bowls, newspapers, and pet toys to donate to AHS.
