Bath

Responding to the trend of hotel bathrooms evolving into mini
spas, Moen has added to its Mosaic line with its multifunction
flushmount body sprays. Thanks to a new engine that fits inside
the same framework as a single-function showerhead, "guests can
switch from spray to pulse, simply by pushing a lever that sits on
the outside of the decorative trim ring," explains Jerry Capasso,
bath products manager. So named because it fits cleanly against a
shower wall, Mosaic is available in square or round trim shapes and
four metal finishes. Also new is Immersion, a technology that uses
a self-pressurizing system that channels water in a circular pattern,
improving upon gravity-fed rain showers where water collects in the
showerhead and emerges with less force.
Focusing on ease rather than luxury, Delta Faucet's new
TempSense technology features an LED light on the base of the
faucet that changes from blue to red to signal to users when the
water has reached a desired temperature. Delta has also introduced
Touch2O technology faucets, which are activated by taps to
the spout or the handle, as well as electronically via heightened
sensors that can pick up presences within four inches.

TV Mirrors

A hotel bathroom isn't truly luxurious theses days unless it
features a TV in the mirror. But for Electric Mirror, TVs are just
the beginning of the picture. "We put technology into mirrors,
whether it's TVs, Bluetooth, or lighting," says product manager
Grant Sullivan. The company's technological improvements
include high-definition TVs and bigger screens (up to 21 inches),
and Sullivan also promises a "revolutionary innovation" coming
later this fall that takes advantage of miniaturization to make

installation and servicing of TV mirrors easier. Meanwhile, its new
offering Vive transforms any of its products into a music system
that can connect with a guest's smartphone.
Séura also continues to innovate with its big-screen
entertainment TV mirrors, offering the largest on the market at
65 inches. Its new ultra HD (4K) Vanishing Entertainment line
reduces the space between the perimeters of the TV and mirror
by 58 percent over its previous models, reducing the distraction
surrounding the TV once it's turned on. ❙❘❚
