Milliken's new Preservation collection captures "the beauty and fragility of textiles in a state of suspended
wear," explains Tracy Francis, hospitality market manager for Milliken's floorcovering division. Available with
étage technology, designers can create custom-inspired designs by controlling various layers of pattern.
This year, Milliken has achieved many notable accolades, including being named World's Most Ethical
Company by the Ethisphere Institute for the ninth consecutive year. "We are one of only 15 companies who
can claim this consecutive distinction and the only floorcovering manufacturer to be given this honor," Francis says.
Helping to earn this distinction is its continued commitment to sustainability, especially with the introduction of the Environmental Product Declarations
and Declare transparency labels. This year, Milliken was selected to be part of the HPD Collaborative Manufacturing Advisory Panel core committee. "As
the only flooring manufacturer, we look forward to representing our industry as the panel works to provide transparency tools to use for accurate product
comparisons."
NEWH continues to prove a valuable partner, and "our conversations with NEWH members deeply influence our product line," Francis says. "We're
proud to be a firm supporter of NEWH and to experience how the organization impacts the hospitality industry."

Moen's new products, Via and Rizon, highlight the industry's desire for modern finishes. "We now give
architects and designers two new stylish options to choose from that fi t beautifully into any contemporarydesigned bath," says Steven Ward, director of global design. The company's products have been featured
in new properties such as the Metropolitan at the 9 in Cleveland. Bathrooms throughout the property
include 90 degree single-handle faucets, Roman tub faucets, shower trim, and accessories.
Moen is also giving back to the community, continuing its partnership with the Northeastern Ohio chapter of Habitat for Humanity where the company
donated all of the kitchen and bath fi xtures and helps aid in the construction of homes. "At Moen, being a part of a community means going out and truly
making a difference where it counts," he says. What's more, Moen believes in water conservation and its selection of WaterSense-certified faucets helps
by meeting EPA guidelines.
Moen credits NEWH with improving brand awareness with key decision-makers in the industry. "We appreciate the insights received from designers
and executives, and use those to develop products that are not only easy for the end user but also for the facilities themselves," Ward says.

With its creation of a new bed for Hilton's Canopy brand, Serta started 2015 off right. "This is an incredible bed in its
look, feel, and comfort," says Rich Sequeira, vice president of contract sales. In addition, Serta had a record year in the
hospitality industry, and continues its philanthropic endeavors with its partnership with Fisher House Foundation, an
organization that provides lodging and support for families that have loved ones receiving treatments at military veterans'
hospitals. Serta is also committed to its green initiatives and works with Global Solutions to recycle old beds instead of
sending them to a landfill.
The company continues its growth and credits NEWH for helping integrate Serta into the industry. "NEWH was one of the
first organizations I joined some 28 years ago and to see it evolve has been great," says Sequeira. "The friendships and sense of family are what I value
most."

Tropitone started 2015 with several product introductions, including KOR padded sling and sling furniture
collection, the South Beach elite chaise lounge, Cabana Club woven seating collections, the redesigned
Millennia chaise lounges, and Sabia tabletops.
Yet, "the biggest challenge for the industry is the customer's understanding of quality and price
differentiation," says John Mattson, vice president of sales. "Tropitone builds to a standard, not price, and
encourages quality craftsmanship. As a result, our customers are guaranteed high quality products and services, a strong investment that will last for
years to come."
The company's work with NEWH continues to evolve. Indeed, Mattson says the association with NEWH "helps representatives and manufacturers stay
connected with our clients through local meetings, networking events, and tradeshows."
