Chapter Highlights
South Florida

The chapter hosted the Miami Regional tradeshow in March
at the Miami Airport Convention Center, where industry
professionals enjoyed product displays by hospitality
vendors and CEU topics in lighting and design. The chapter
also held its annual Rock and Bowl Event in May at Bird Bowl
in Miami.
Every year, the chapter honors excellence in hospitality
design and scholastic achievement by design students in its
annual SOFHIE and Scholarship Awards dinner. This year's
event will be at the Treetop Ballroom in Jungle Island Miami
Beach on October 27th. The theme is Masquerade, and guests
are encouraged to wear masks designed by local industry
professionals; a silent auction for the masks will be held
with proceeds going towards NEWH scholarships. For more

Los Angeles Founding Chapter

The chapter hosted a bowling event at Bowlera Mar
Vista Lanes in June; Brintons sponsored a lane and won
the Sportsmanship award. The event drew more than
100 attendees and resulted in 22 new members. Thank
