Houston

The chapter hosted its Annual Scholarship Gala
in February. Event sponsors included Bernhardt,
Lexmark Northwest, Cambria, TRI-KES, and more.
A special thanks to all for making the evening a
success.
This year's theme was "A Toast to the Future"
and included a live jazz band, live auction, and
a presentation from guest speaker Stacy Garcia.
Scholarships were awarded to Samantha Meyers,
Texas State University; Mary McKnight, Baylor
University; Kristina Scott, Baylor University; Dung
Trang, University of Houston; and Natalie LehmanGuerrero, the Art Institute of Houston.
The chapter also hosted its CEU Night in July at the
Daltile Tile and Stone Gallery in Houston. The event
featured CEUs on the Unexpected Impact of Art
in the Built Environment by MDC, and Sustainable
Flooring Systems by Armstrong.

The chapter recently had an opportunity to provide dinner
and a bingo night for more than 20 families at the Ronald
McDonald House in Camden, New Jersey, a place where
families of seriously ill and injured children from around
the world can stay while they are being treated at nearby
hospitals. Organizations, families, and corporations donate
time and money to ensure the interior of the space is
lighthearted, comfortable, and engaging. Thank you to
Madison Art Consulting for coordinating this fantastic event.
