HOW PERKATORY
WORKS:
Elephants and Tea is bringing you a new way to hear and amplify the stories of
the adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer community with the digital series
Perkatory: Brewing Tough Conversations to Help Each Other Face Cancer.
The last Thursday of each month we will host a Zoom meeting at 7:00pm
Eastern Time inviting anyone that would like to join Perkatory that month.

Each Perkatory session we
will invite writers that will
be featured throughout the
month on a specific topic
to read their writing out
loud to the community.
We will then invite an
organization to come and
present briefly about who
they are and what they do
so people attending can
learn more about other
awesome organizations.
We will then open it up to
Q&A and a discussion on
the topic of the month and
the writers stories.
THE GOAL OF
PERKATORY IS:
* To encourage individuals
to use their voice
* Learn more about a
specific topic that might
be difficult for some
cancer patients to bring
up themselves
* Bring each other out of
" perkatory " to help live
your best life
