acing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE) is a national
nonprofit organization focused on people with gene mutations
that are linked to cancer. Many members of our community
have either been diagnosed or are at very high risk for breast and
other cancers. While most breast cancer survivors are familiar
with genetic testing and the genes associated with breast cancer, such as
BRCA1, BRCA2, ATM, CHEK2, and PALB2, fewer people are aware of
other cancers that can be caused by an inherited mutation. So, when our
partners at Tigerlily Foundation invited us to write an article, we welcomed
the opportunity to heighten awareness of endometrial cancer.
