34 New York report The NADI Show 2008 Catch the best visual showrooms have to offer at the annual New York showcase By DDI Staff he visual merchandising world will get a sneak peak into its future, as the industry’s finest showrooms open their doors Dec. 10-12 for The NADI Show in New York. The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT)’s Katie Murphy Amphitheatre will host NADI’s educational and networking sessions, which will include style and trend forecasts, and a look at how green retailing affects the visual merchandising community. The 12th annual PAVE Gala, to take place Wednesday, Dec. 10, at New York’s Gotham Hall, will highlight some of the best and brightest people and projects in the visual industry. Proceeds benefit PAVE educational pro- T grams, including financial aid and internship opportunities. One highlight of the event is PAVE’s Rising Star Award, which recognizes the achievements of individuals age 35 and under who have demonstrated talent, vision and implementation in the retail environment. Also at the PAVE Gala, DDI will present Winning Windows, honoring the top retail store designs as part of our annual New York holiday window design competition.
