P
olka-dotted tentacles, bird’s-eye-view tableaus and even a T-Rex made of wooden hangers— these are just some of the whimsical creations visual departments have recently unleashed in their store windows, commanding attention and stopping onlookers dead in their tracks to gaze in awe. Revel in their visual ingenuity as you peruse the visual masterpieces on the following pages…
Tiffany & Co.
These windows, both from Tiffany & Co.’s Fifth Avenue flagship in New York, came from two campaigns in April and May. The window shown above honors the partnership between the Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy on the occasion of its 30th Annual Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon, and Tiffany & Co., celebrating its 175th anniversary. The window shown at left evokes the exuberant colors, enchanting architecture and charming gondolas of Venice—the inspiration for Paloma Picasso’s Venezia collection.
