Designers Serena Zanello and Emanuele Zaniboni of Ctrl-Arch approached the design of Zero, a hip cocktail bar set in the center of downtown Turin, Italy, like any one of their other projects—with a concept based on architecture and graphics that’s filled with custom furniture and eco-friendly materials. “We wanted to create a unique identity for the space with a cool logo and cool graphics,” says Zanello. The designers preserved the space’s historic past (the bar is housed in a 19th century building) and at the same time introduced minimal, modern accents to the small 862-squarefoot space.
