The Fort Worth, TX-based firm has added the Rewards Done Right boutique of awards to its Inspirus employee recognition and service award platform. The new products are all sourced from vendors that produce socially responsible products, from nonprofits in underdeveloped countries and communities that support fair wages and equal-opportunity employment and education, to companies with environmentally responsible products that are made from recycled goods or eco-friendly components. “We recognize that even in tough times, people want to find ways to give back to those in need,” says Michael Cobb, president of Diamond H. “These new products will allow employees to turn their personal recognition moment into an opportunity to help others.” The corporate gifts are from groups as diverse as Bright Endeavors, which works with homeless and at-risk women in inner-city Chicago, and the Ajquema K’aslemal Cooperative in Zaput, Guatemala, which uses the funds from sales to pay for the schooling of local children. The women artisans of Zaput offer a 20-thread, hand-strung This coral- and glass-beaded necklace was made by artisans from the Ajquema K’aslemal Cooperative in Zaput, Guatemala, and supports local children’s schooling necklace of glass and coral beads called Strands of Progress. One sale will provide three and a half months of schooling for the local children. Bright Endeavors provides transitional employment, job training, and life-development skills to Chicago women of ages 16 to 25. It produces the scented Dreambean Candles, made of clean-burning and eco-friendly soy and palm wax, which can be ordered individually or in gift baskets. incentivemag.com | October 2009 | Incentive | http://www.incentivemag.com
