Australian travel programs, specifically Melbourne, were the focal point of dealings at the Melbourne-based show, which ran in March. “Our exhibitors are very keen to meet U.S. buyers, so this year for the first time we invested heavily in hosting a dozen of the cream of the crop,” AIME Event Director Rosemarie Sama says of the U.S. group. “We had fantastic points of interest, local events, attractions, and transportation to personal security. Weissmann Reports, which has provided destination information to tens of thousands of travel professionals since 1986, covers virtually every meaningful travel destination in the U.S., as well as abroad. Weissmann Reports deploys teams of local experts to assess destinations and produce individual destination reports.
