The latest inspiring products from your fellow members Clockwise from above: York Contract Wallcoverings launches Brilliant Filligree, the first Type II vinyl wallcovering to incorporate 100 percent recycled glass beads, sourced from automobile windshields. Part of York’s Candice Olson Contract Collection, it also boasts these sustainable features: CAL-1350 vinyl compliant for indoor air emissions; low-VOC and water-based inks and adhesives; and it can contribute to LEED EQ 4.1 points. For the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London, a more than $300 million restoration of an 1873 building, Brintons created a reproduction carpet for the hotel’s grand stair. Working with GA Design International, RHWL Architects, and English Heritage, and using woven samples and photographs of the original carpet as well as period design material from Brintons’ own carpet design archive as inspiration, Brintons created a carpet with a bright, mixed floral pattern that ensured the renovation was historically accurate. Spinneybeck introduces Starflower, the newest addition to its Laser Engraved leather collection. Starflower, designed in conjunction with designer Genevieve Bennett, combines the precision of a laser engraved product with the characteristics of a natural product, creating a modern organic pattern that adds subtle luxury and an element of surprise to interiors. 24 winter 2011 tel 800.593.NEWH
