The organization has created a leaflet with tearable coupons including buyone-get-one-free offers and 50percent-off food and drink at participating eateries ranging from fast-food outlets to the famous Jumbo floating restaurant in Aberdeen Harbour. The promotion works in conjunction with the HKTB’s Quality Tourism Services Scheme, which certifies shops, restaurants, and attractions that display prices and information clearly and offer superior customer service for foreign visitors. After the sun goes down, one of the most popular nightlife spots for expatriates, locals, and visitors alike is Lan Kwai Fong, a severalblock area in the Central district lined exclusively with Westernstyle pubs, bars, restaurants, and clubs and which allows open consumption. English is the predominant language here (albeit with varying accents), and nearly every night the streets are filled with energetic crowds.
