The NSBE International Ambassadors Initiative draws on the experiences of past NSBE expansion activities initiated by our passionate and dedicated membership. This initiative will engage NSBE volunteers in our continued expansion efforts and provide each of them with the information and organization to spread the NSBE gospel. Everyone has a part to play in the J growth of our organization. And this initiative will leverage the knowledge and networks of our U.S.-born NSBE members and members of international heritages, communities and ethnicities, to purposefully plant our NSBE vision and mission around the world. Your chapter can participate in the Buddy Chapter Program. Even if your chapter is part of the Buddy Chapter Program, you can establish a pen pal relationship with International members on your own. Learn More about Our Affinity Areas — their geography, cultures and people. Support Technology Transfer 2.0, and donate software, hardware and books that you no longer use. Support NSBE International Programs and Drives throughout the year! Programs include: • Consulting Design Olympiad: Pair with a U.S./International Chapter as consultant on an issue affecting a global demographic. • A Walk for Education: This is one of NSBE’s signature programs and is just as strong and vital on the International field. Look out for next year’s Walk, and see how you can get involved. • The International Leadership Summit: This event takes place at an International location. NSBE leaders host a program of training and awareness development, making a personal connection with the International membership. • The Buddy Program: Pair up with an International chapter to establish a personal relationship and a support system. Contact your regional International chairs or the International Committee for more information. • Drives at Conferences: At most NSBE conferences there is some type of drive aimed at supporting our International membership.
