emarkable staying power for the top-ranked employers remains the story for the NSBE Annual Employer
Preference ("NSBE 50") Survey in 2019. In the yearly
check-in with NSBE's collegiate members, all of the top
10 employers in the 2018 survey remained in the top 10 in
the latest iteration. Google; Apple, Inc.; and NASA repeated as
the top three, and Raytheon Company, Ball Corporation and
American Airlines made this year's NSBE 50 after missing the
cut last year. Since its launch more than two decades ago, this
ranking of our members' most preferred employers has also
served the Society's top supporters as a valuable tool to gauge

the effectiveness of their diversity and inclusion efforts.
To calculate the NSBE 50, NSBE members were asked during
the membership registration process to identify their top three
prospective employers. Organizations selected as a first choice
were awarded three points, second-choice organizations were
awarded two points, and third choices were awarded one point.
The points for each employer were tallied, and the employers
were ranked according to their total points. The 50 organizations with the most points were included in the NSBE 50.
