Venture Out is the way the industry is embracing and encouraging new outdoor and snowsports consumers as well
as helping incubate brands and influence the direction of

Show days can be long, and by late
afternoon, you might need the rejuvenating effects of a sweet snack
and a bold cuppa. The Scandinavian
Village has you covered. At 3 p.m.,
they're offering "fika," a cup of coffee
(served in Light My Fire of Sweden
collapsible cups) and a slice of cinnamon roll. "The most traditional pastry
is cinnamon buns," said Per Jonsson
Öhlin of the Scandinavian Outdoor
Group. "The special thing about
Swedish coffee is that it's so much
more strong than the American," he
said, laughing. "Personally, I would
say American coffee is tea, almost,
and Swedish coffee is the real stuff.

On THE RANGE

As you settle into Day 3 of the Show, it's time to slow things
