Founded in 2016, MountainFlow
Eco-Wax first developed a water-based anti-stick spray that
reduced snow and ice buildup on
ski topsheets. This product became
popular in the backcountry community by reducing snow buildup
to keep skis light and help skiers
efficiently venture into the mountains without carrying pounds of
unnecessary weight. The next year,
the team began testing all-natural
base waxes to find a product that's
easy to apply without being hazardous to the environment. They came
up with a 100% plant-based ski wax
that doesn't harm the watershed
