VENTURE OUT

Venture Out is the show destination where retailers can discover hip
trends and better understand how the definition of outdoor is changing. Venture Out embodies the way the industry is embracing and
encouraging new outdoor consumers as well as helping to incubate
up-and-coming brands and influencing the direction of how existing
brands approach this market. And the space is getting a makeover
debuting at Outdoor + Snow Show (see "Going Green" on page 28.)
Venture Out is also home to The RANGER Station, a popular
gathering space for education sessions and panels. This January,
you'll find new stadium-style seating designed to invite intimate
collaboration and connection as well as new signage and wayfinding to help you navigate the show floor.
This is the place where modern styles meet outdoor expression.
Retailers can discover new brands to find inspiration to expand their
offerings, because the brands here are defining the trends in the outdoor space. Venture Out has always been a nexus for collaboration,
with artist activations and opportunities to meet creatives.
It's also the spot to grab an espresso from Summit Coffee Co.,
tuck into a hand-held treat from Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs, or
catch an educational session from the Show's packed event lineup
(see page 36 for the daily schedule).

services were selected by a panel of judges for the final round
of the Innovation Awards. Stop by and take a look at the future
of outdoor. The awards ceremony takes place Jan. 30 from 6 to
7:30 p.m. in the Four Seasons Ballroom inside the Colorado Convention Center. For more on the finalists, see page 72.

Explore the culture of Scandinavian brands without leaving
North America in the Show's Scandinavian Village. Here you'll
discover international outdoor trends and ideas for expanding
store offerings with products from members of the Scandinavian Outdoor Group. Gather around the Scandinavian bar
and mingle, do business, and kibitz over daily fika with Generous Coffee and happy hours. This is where you'll find Dale of
Norway, Ecco, Elevenate, Hestra, Houdini (together with Cake),
Norrøna, and Reima. Elsewhere on the show floor, look for
Fjällräven and Bergans of Norway.
