RAPID REWARDS FREEDOM STORY Regional Sales Manager, Rosenbauer, Ocala, Florida Brad Turk Most of us probably don't think much about ﬁre trucks until we need one, but Brad Turk has these machines on his mind every day. "You know the wide-eyed little boy you always see watching the shiny red ﬁre trucks in parades? That was me-and I still get that feeling." As a regional sales manager for Rosenbauer, the world's largest manufacturer of ﬁre trucks and ﬁreﬁghting equipment, Brad has turned his passion into a career. He usually travels three or four times a month for work, and Southwest Airlines is his carrier of choice. "Southwest goes everywhere I need to go," Brad says. "It's cost-effective and offers convenient ﬂight times. And, of course, bags ﬂy free." Brad got his start in the ﬁreﬁghting world 33 years ago, designing and building ﬁre trucks. He has also served as a volunteer ﬁreﬁghter. Like Southwest, he puts a premium on Safety, reliability, cost, and excellent Customer Service. "Southwest has an easy boarding process, a hassle-free policy for last-minute ticket changes, and quick curbside checkin-and they care about their Customers." Originally from the Pittsburgh area, Brad moved to Florida for his job 19 years ago, which is when his relationship with Southwest began. It started with family visits, expanded to business travel, and now includes leisure trips (he and his wife, Corinne, are especially excited about the airline's new international service). As a Southwest Customer, Brad has made many fond memories, like the time he and Corinne met country star Joe Nichols on a ﬂight to Nashville. The encounter didn't end on the plane, either: Joe invited them to his concert. At ﬁrst they didn't think he was serious, but they showed up at the venue, told security they'd met Joe on a Southwest ﬂight, and ﬁve minutes later were right by the stage. You might say it's good to make friends in high places! Brad, we hope to always be a good friend and business partner to you, and we admire your passion for ﬁreﬁghting.
