He has a passion for his hobby of collecting and restoring vintage muscle cars. And he has a passion for family and for his community of Franklin, Kentucky, where he has established a scholarship fund and built the area’s only public golf course, Country Creek. To stay connected with all his passions, Kenny counts on Southwest Airlines. “I fly Southwest almost exclusively,” Kenny says. “My tournament schedule takes me from Seattle to Naples, Florida, and to dozens of cities in between. Early in his career, Kenny sought financial help from an elder at his local church to get through the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament. The gentleman agreed to assist him only if he promised to donate 5 percent of his earnings to charity. Kenny has now given more than $1.5 million to the Simpson County Scholarship Fund.
