When you’re a card-carrying member of a squad of merry scribes called the Golf Road Warriors, a simple golf trip can become an epic battle. Our trip to Scotland would be no different. Because on this links-golf adventure, my fellow Warriors and I would not only be traveling to the photos (from top) courtesy of machrihanish dunes, visit scotland, mar hall hotel & resort ★ home of golf, where we would play courses with almost unpronounceable names and stay in hotels older than our great-grandfathers, we’d also be blogging and tweeting and Facebooking and otherwise cataloging our experiences every night until the wee hours of the morning. Over the seven days of our trip, we’d be taking on eight storied courses, staying in three unique hotels, and consuming as many drams of Scotland’s national holy water as time and sobriety would permit.
