When it comes to travel, she knows her stuff. How often do you travel? About three weeks a month. It’s mostly work related, so I’m really glad to be home when I’m not working. I love the solitude of getting on a plane and being able to relax and read, or focus on work without distraction. Do you have a favorite US Airways Club? Probably Phoenix, because that’s my home, and I wish there were more like PHX because the club offers so much. The one in Tampa, where I’m originally from, is also really nice. What items do you always travel with? My pillow, believe it or not. I always have running gear and workout clothes. Oh, and all my electronics — I have my laptop, my noise-canceling headphones, and my phone. Can you offer any advice to fellow travelers? I actually was a flight attendant for ten years, and I’ve now traveled for work for 20 years, so I have a few tips. I always carry a condensed version of my suitcase in my carry-on, so I have a backup outfit and other items. I also always have a book to read and snacks in my carry-on as well, like energy bars and mixed nuts, just in case there’s a delay. Also, I always have a backup plan in case of weather. Where would you go for a dream vacation? Italy. I’d go anywhere in Italy. I’ve been there for work briefly, but not on a vacation.
