Schools have let out for the break, the warm (okay, hot) weather is here and vacations are being planned and taken. Needless to say, it has me longing for an adventure, and this issue has only contributed to that. Take an inside look at the 2016 Commencement, as we celebrated with 489 new alumni who are ready to take on the world. We also caught up with alumna Mary Kaupas '15, who has literally "taken on the world" by working in a training hospital in South Sudan, only months after graduating herself. It's no shock that our students are feeling this inspired when PA College also has faculty members doing the same-Susan McDonald, Nursing Faculty, is preparing for her ninth trip to Haiti to work in a clinic! I'm also equally as excited to share PA College's first ever summer reading list! So, if you're looking for a good adventure here at home, like me, you can find a literary escape in one of these good books. I hope you enjoy reading this issue, whether from the comfort of your home, by the pool or on vacation! If you take your copy somewhere fun, snap a photo and send it our way!
