From Refugee to RN
Greetings
Any new endeavor requires courage. Showing up for the first day of classes. Learning a new
skill. Starting a first job. Imagine the courage it took for the students profiled in our feature
article to leave behind their lives in Bhutan and Nepal and come to this country as refugees
with nothing but their dreams. It took still more courage for them to aspire to become
nurses and step onto that path as PA College students. Walt Disney said, " All our dreams
can come true if we have the courage to pursue them. " I hope you will be as inspired as I was
by our students' stories and that you also will find the courage to pursue your own dreams,
wherever they take you.
