A Different Approach
Golf shouldn't exist in a one-size-fits-all box. So says popular recording
artist Macklemore, whose passion for the game of golf
rivals the love he carries for his music.
Offering more than just talk, Macklemore will walk the walk
on Tuesday, June 15 at 8 p.m. ET when he will serve as host
of The Approach, a NBC Sports worldwide streaming event that
will celebrate new and emerging ways to live the golfing lifestyle
while also saluting the ever-growing population of new golfers
who prefer to enjoy the game on their own, non-stereotypical
terms.
These messages will be echoed throughout The Approach. Attendance
is free and there's still time to register at www.golfpass.
com/the-approach and join with a stellar lineup of participating
celebrities, professional golfers, innovative business leaders and
fellow golfers over the course of 75 entertaining minutes. The
event will be streamed by GolfPass and everyone who registers
will automatically be entered for a chance to win a four-night
golf vacation for four from Troon Golf at the Westin Kierland
Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Segments throughout the evening will include topics like digital
currency and how to turn unused gift cards and other assets
into rounds of golf; a modern look at gaming and why wagering

trends, including a look at Macklemore's new golf clothing line,

Jessica Korda, NBC's Dylan Dreyer, CNBC's Dominic Chu,
comedians James Davis and Conor Moore, WWE Diva Torrie
Wilson, social media influencer Paige Spiranac, PointsBets's
Teddy Greenstein, members of Team Full Swing - NBA superstar
Stephen Curry and golfers, Jon Rahm, Jason Day and Gary

GolfNow personality Lauren Thompson to explain why cryptocurrency
is a big deal in today's economy, how to buy and use it,
and how crypto is infiltrating the world of golf. Thompson also
will introduce Gavin Michael, CEO of Bakkt, a company whose
app offers an innovative way for consumers to aggregate unused
gift cards, hotel points, airline miles and cryptocurrency and apply
them toward rounds of golf.
Fitness Technology: The world of fitness technology has exploded.
Whoop CEO Will Ahmed will interview professional
golfer and Whoop user Jessica Korda about performance, rest
and recovery, while Rory McIlroy talks about how he optimizes
his day with the help of Whoop.

In-Home Golf Tech: Not all golf is played on green grass, so
this segment also features the world of golf simulation technology
with the help of Team Full Swing members Jon Rahm, Gary
Woodland and Jason Day, as well as NBA star Stephen Curry.
Fashion: In addition to learning more about Macklemore's Bogey
Boys golf fashion line, segment host O'Neal will introduce viewers
to the PUMA Golf fashion icons Rickie Fowler and Bryson DeChambeau
who will talk about the company's latest styles.
Travel: Comedian and writer James Davis will explain why golf
and travel are the perfect companions and showcase scenes from
his new GolfPass series, Golf Road Trippin'.
Sprinkled throughout The Approach will be video vignettes - titled
My Approach - which will feature various personalities from
