In the above, we track the monthly and quarterly timeseries view of weather impact (measured by Golf Playable Hours or GPH) so
our readers can see how the year is playing out at the national level. Again, if you want the 45 regional, the 61 markets or individual

The above graphic shows the " flat " weather result for September which will make weather a non-factor, at the national level,
in whatever rounds played results we'll see (we've already seen the preview of September rounds from our Golf Market Research
Center Charter Members but we won't spoil it for you). The September result didn't change the YtD figure which remains in our
neutral zone (+/-2%) but on the negative side of the zero mark. If you want a look into our weather forecasting " crystal ball " for our

The above graphic represents a timeseries by month of Utilization change which we're sure that by now you all know is the resultant
of Played Rounds (demand) divided by Available Rounds (capacity). We compare each month back to the static prior Year End
figure (59%) to determine if we improved or lost utilization in the current month.
Utilization registered its 2nd consecutive month of (modest) decline as rounds declines slightly outpaced the weather decline
resulting in a 2 pt loss for August. The YtD figure is still healthily positive at +7 points. Jim's September Utilization " call " is going
to be flat based on the known weather performance (+1%) and our preview of the GMRC Charter Members' early returns (our
GMRC Charter Members have already seen the roll-up of the portfolio for September including their numbers; you could be inthe-know
too by inquiring here).
