and data analytics that correct many of the issues that have
caused past initiatives to fail. In the interest of brevity; we will
detail the major points. We are also not going to get into the
differences between what Sagacity (Loustalot/Darrow) and
Pellucid offer - that's a story for another day.

the income statement accounts to derive meaningful numbers. "

First of all, Rounds and Revenue benchmarking does not
require General Ledger or Income Statement access - it is
generated from the POS. Pellucid has been doing POS dissections
with a high degree of accuracy for years on a variety
of POS platforms, including Mr. Keegan's old company, Fairway
Systems. Our " Category/Department Assignment, Sales
Item mapping " process is automated and a one time set-up
occurence. There is also not as much variance from course to
course as Keegan implies. The initial installation is basically
similar on each platform - e.g. there are similarities on Club
Prophet from one course to the next, same for Lightspeed,
ForeUp and others.
Further, Ross Liggett at Metolius has figured out how to
fully automate the Sales Item Mapping process via remote API
access. Pellucid has spent most of 2022 comparing notes and
sharing code with Metolius to minimize course level data input,
provide automated comparative reporting and open the
door for Pellucid's battery of customer and transaction analytics.

reporting to compare their facilities against the industry
benchmarks. Still, they found little value in the continuing reports
once the initial benchmarks comparison was complete. "

value in Sagacity's service.
All I can say is that Pellucid's GMRC clients must see continuing
value. Our retention from 2021 was 100%. 90% have
their data entered by the 5th of each month and our frequent
exchanges with clients (yes, we do interact) are overwhelmingly
positive. Let me tell you why.
Benchmarking is only part of the process. The course level
comparative reporting is infinitely easier and more comprehensive
than what is readily available from their POS providers.
The Pellucid/Edgehill Cognilogic Weather data used to automatically
adjust for weather variances gives them a much more
accurate barometer of their performance. We would also add
that even the NGF is now using Pellucid's weather data in their
golf industry reporting.
