CGMES Import and Export
DIgSILENT has set standards and trends in power system modelling, analysis
and simulation for more than 25 years. The proven advantages of the
PowerFactory software are its overall functional integration, its applicability to
the modelling of generation, transmission, distribution and industrial grids and
the analysis of the interactions of these grids.
The new version PowerFactory 2016 comes with advanced Network Model
Management functionality. In particular, this version features the new
ENTSO-E Profile CGMES based on CIM 16, including import, export and data
modification, being compliant with the ENTSO-E conformity assessment.
Since the CIM data model is seamlessly integrated into the PowerFactory
project context, users can easily add or update networks from other
stakeholders, such as neighbouring, upstream or downstream networks,
that are available in the CGMES format.
