estimator (rTneT), TsaPM, realtime contingency analysis (rTca),
volt-var dispatch (VVd), realtime voltage stability assessment
(rTVsa), and real-time transient
stability assessment (rTTsa). The
objective of these functions is to
estimate the power system condition (voltages at system buses,
power flows, shunt injections, and
so forth) and to provide an assessment of system security, preventive action plans, and corrective
action plans, such as rasa patterns. These network applications
execute automatically in real time
every 2-4 min and can also be run
in study mode for off-line studies.
