aplicaciones de corto plazo: 1) optimización a nivel de la red
para mejorar el rendimiento de los sistemas de distribución de
potencia y 2) restablecimiento basado en modelos para mejorar
la resistencia de los sistemas de distribución de potencia.

la gestión de los efectos de los flujos de potencia inversa
correspondientes se está convirtiendo en una tarea cada vez
más difícil para las empresas de distribución. Las soluciones
pasivas, es decir, los estándares que imponen restricciones
en la capacidad/salida instalada de las FED, ya no son efectivas cuando abordan problemas de tensión y congestión.
De manera alternativa, las aplicaciones del ADMS de nueva
generación que aprovechan las capacidades de observación
y control mejoradas de los sistemas de distribución modernos para gestionar de manera activa y óptima los activos de
red y la operación de las FED pueden convertirse en una
solución preferible. Se muestra una ilustración gráfica de
estos enfoques en el Gráfico 1. Por ejemplo, los parques eólicos o fotovoltaicos (FV) conectados a media tensión (MT)
podrían gestionar su potencia activa y reactiva activamente
antes de que se rompan las restricciones de la red en lugar
de limitar el tamaño de sus instalaciones en función del
peor escenario (es decir, condiciones de carga mínima). Se
podría aplicar un concepto similar a los sistemas FV de los
clientes de baja tensión (BT) en lugar de simplemente adoptar configuraciones de voltios-vatios que inevitablemente
penalizarán a los clientes cerca del final de un alimentador
(donde se espera que la tensión esté en su punto más alto).
