But the doe that walked past early one morning locked in on the camera that was taking pictures at the site. Lifting its head to see the camera on the tree ahead, this bear closed quickly to get a closer look. Looking wasn't enough for the bears on the opposite page. The bear nosing the lens in the top sequence knocked the camera from the tree, a photo snapping as it fell to the ground. And the bear in the bottom sequence gnawed on the camera, its tooth piercing the motion sensor. 34
