So a group of buddies and I planned to meet for breakfast first, then head out across a snow-covered landscape sometime after legal shooting hours began on the second Saturday of the flintlock season. My buddies all had taken bucks earlier in the year; I hadn't. But we all had WMU 2D antlerless tags left. And we talked with excitement about the possibility of getting some shooting with our flintlocks. But the next morning, the others weren't as motivated as they seemed the night before.
