1 2 3 4 5 JULY 2022 (1) York County Game Warden Cameron Murphy joined (2) Overt Special Investigator Steven Brussese and K-9 Kya in an investigation that led to dozens of charges against a group of poachers who unlawfully killed multiple deer. The wardens' work was recognized as the 2021 Operation Game Thief Case of the Year. (3) York County Game Warden Scott Brookens and (4) Special Permits Division Chief Chad Eyler received the Kalbfus-Berrier Award recognizing wardens who use traditional law-enforcement techniques or woods skills to detect, investigate or apprehend violators. (5) Dennis Neideigh, who recently retired as the Game Commission's Real Estate Division Chief, was recognized on the floor of the state House of Representatives for his 37 years of distinguished service, which included his work as a district game warden in Westmoreland and Lancaster counties, as well as efforts to add more than 106,000 acres to state game lands.
