Westin, Sheraton, Le Méridien, Marriott and Hilton.

THE RIGHT PROPERTY
The other side of the company’s strategy revolves around how
it selects properties. Wischermann Partners has very strong relationships with many of the best-known high-end hotel brands
and that means in many cases those projects come to it. “The
most important decision for us is, ‘Who do we work with and
can we fulfill the expectations of the owners of the proposed
hotels?’” Wischermann says.
Among the company’s highly successful properties is The
Westin Edina Galleria in the suburbs of Minneapolis. This
mixed-use development opened in 2008 and features 225
hotel rooms combined with 82 residential units. The Westin
has received consistently high marks since its opening, including the best overall guest satisfaction score in 2010 of all 533
Starwood-branded hotels in North America.
In 2011, Wischermann Partners acquired the Sheraton
Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel, and immediately began work on
a complete renovation of the 296-room hotel. The renovation,
completed in April 2012, incorporated traditional designs and
modern lifestyle trends. The company also added substantial
eco-friendly features.
One of the company’s newest properties is the Le Méridien
Atlanta Perimeter, which opened in early 2013 and has exceeded expectations already, according to Wischermann. The
275-room hotel was rebranded beginning last year, and is the
first of a new wave of upper-upscale Le Méridien hotels from
Starwood Hotels and Resorts in North America. Wischermann
Partners is managing the property.
Wischermann says the company works with many of the
most recognized names in luxury and upper upscale hospitality
and manages a wide range of properties. However, the company’s goal for each property is the same no matter what the
circumstances. “Ultimately, our goal is that every single one of
our hotels is positioned in the top 10 percent of its peers in
guest satisfaction metrics,” Wischermann says.
