This sophisticated downtown eatery focuses
on sharable, tapas-style small plates and
wood-fired pizza, accompanied by charcuterie and cheese, snacks, desserts and a full
beverage program. Its pizzas demonstrate an
emphasis on flavor pairings. The Titan features
a peach purée, speck, basil chiffonade and
Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP ($14).
There is nothing plain about the pizzeria's
cheese pizza. The Cheese is topped with
ricotta, Gruyere, fresh mozzarella, Parmesan
and fresh herbs. Small plates include Braised
& Fried Rabbit Wings ($13), Fried "Nashville
Hot" Oysters ($15), GA Marinated Shrimp
& Avocado Toast ($13). The Libations menu
features meticulously crafted cocktails, wine,
beer and specialty liquors.

The four-unit pizzeria was established in
Augusta, Georgia. Each location offers a fun
and eclectic space with a full bar. Its East
Coast-style pizza is available in slices, 14- and
20-inch. The Chicken Diane is topped with
Alfredo sauce, herbs, jerk chicken, Roma
tomatoes and spinach. The menu also features
a mix of calzones, stromboli, sandwiches and
panini. The DeVito Sandwich is packed with
ham, pepperoni, banana peppers, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, provolone and oil and vinegar.
In addition to breadsticks and garlic knots,
The Pizza Joint offers scratch-made dough
balls cooked to golden brown, seasoned with
Romano and parsley and served with a side of
marinara.

The pizzeria is a go-to spot for New York-style
pizza and classic Italian dishes. Giuseppi's
serves both thin and thick Sicilian-style
pizza. The gourmet pizza menu features the
Potato Pizza with a sour cream sauce, potato,
mozzarella, cheddar, red onion, tomato, broccoli
and bacon. Italian dinners include the Chicken
Nicky, a sautéed chicken breast topped with

fresh basil, sun-dried tomato, Alfredo sauce
and served with penne and tomato sauce.
Giuseppi's offers some of its Italian favorites in
combos, like the Brooklyn Bridge with Chicken
Parmigiana, Lasagna and Fettucini Alfredo.
