Tony Gemignani has won 13 world titles for
his pizza making and acrobatic dough-spinning routines, authored or co-authored three books (including "The
Pizza Bible"), appeared on several national TV networks and is
an owner in 27 pizzerias. His first, Tony's Pizza Napoletana in San
Francisco, opened in 2009, has been named America's best pizzeria
by USA Today, the Travel Channel and Forbes. Tony also runs the
International School of Pizza, where he certifies chefs from all over
the world and teaches a variety of pizza-making styles, many of which
simultaneously appear on the menus at his restaurants. He teaches
the Making Pizzas With Tony Gemignani workshops annually at Pizza
Expo.

Will Grant

Owner,
That's A Some Pizza
Will Grant began his career at ripe old
age of eight, working the kitchen in his
family's restaurant, That's A Some Pizza,
on Bainbridge Island, Washington. By 10, he was apprenticing under
several different chefs and, into his late teens, he had helped to
open 5 restaurants.
As a young man, he decided to strike out on his own, leaving the
family business for the east coast to gain experience running
kitchens at major chains, like Red Robin, Bertucci's, and learning
alongside some of the world's best chefs, like Wolfgang Puck.
He eventually returned to his Pacific Northwest roots and That's A
Some Pizza, but this time as owner and head chef. Wanting to make
the most of the restaurant's 120-year-old sourdough starter, he
attended the International School of Pizza in San Francisco, training
along side his idol, Tony Gemignani.
When he isn't busy running the family business, Will spends time
with his wife and young daughter and makes time to travel.

Denise Greer

Denise Greer is Executive Editor at Pizza
Today. Joining Pizza Today nine years ago,
Denise has extensive knowledge of the
pizzeria industry, visiting high-preforming
pizzerias across the country and working with leading pizza operation
thought leaders. She also leads PizzaToday.com and co-hosts The
Pizza Expo Update Show.

John Gutekanst

Avalanche Pizza

John Gutekanst owns high-volume Avalanche Pizza and bakery in Athens, Ohio.
For 17 years it has been voted "Best Pizza
in Athens" and has been featured on the
Food Network, Food Arts, National Geographic. He holds 14 culinary
titles, including the coveted Best Pizza in the U.S.A. at the World
Pizza Championships in Italy. Previously, he was a general manager/
MaƮtre d' Hotel in Chicago and Boston and a director of restaurants
in Washington, DC, where he handled the VIP room for President Bill
Clinton. He is a regular contributor to Pizza Today and teaches artisan
bread baking at Hocking Culinary College.

Theo Kalogeracos

In the pizzeria business since 1996, Theo
Kalogeracos is well known in Perth, Australia, for his inventive pizzas at a succession
of popular restaurants. He's written two
pizza cookbooks and introduced a brand new menu with different
pizza styles and cooking techniques at his latest venture, Theo & Co
Pizzeria, now with two locations.

Ann Kim

Owner and Executive
Chef, Pizzeria Lola, Hello
Pizza and Young Joni
Ann Kim is the Chef/Owner of Pizzeria
Lola, Hello Pizza and Young Joni, all located
in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A Korean
immigrant, she credits her culinary palate and love of cooking to
helping her mother and grandmother make traditional staples such
as fermented bean paste and kimchi. In 2010 she opened her first
restaurant, Pizzeria Lola, a Minneapolis staple that has been lauded
both locally and nationally. Her second restaurant, Hello Pizza, is an
East Coast-inspired slice shop that frequently tops 'Best Of' lists.
Young Joni opened in 2016 and serves an eclectic genre-bending
menu featuring her signature pizzas and other wood-fired dishes. It is
the recipient of several awards including Minneapolis Star Tribune's
Restaurant of the Year and GQ's Best New Restaurants in America.
In 2019, Ann became the first woman and first person of color from
Minneapolis to receive the James Beard Award for "Best Chef Midwest." She has been featured in the New York Times, Vogue, Forbes,
Wall Street Journal and CBS Saturday's "The Dish." Her highly-anticipated fourth restaurant, Sooki & Mimi, also located in Minneapolis,
is slated to open in 2020.
