New and
Improved
Education

We created PKD Connect
in 2018 to provide patients
and caregivers a central
resource for education,
support, and connection.
Over the past two years, we've added to our
library of online education (including a special COVID-19 webcast series) and continued
to invest in patient support.
This summer, we sent a survey to our
community members to better understand
what kind of education they want more of.
We analyzed the results and are already
hard at work producing virtual resources
that meet those needs.

improved education, coming soon!

As we go to print, fundraising for this year's Walk for
PKD is well underway. Now in its 20th year, the Walk for
PKD remains the nation's largest gathering of the PKD
community. As our signature fundraising and public
awareness event, the Walk has raised an inspiring $33
million for PKD research, and we're hoping to keep the
momentum going-virtually.

ADPKD REGISTRY
CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY

The Foundation was thrilled
to celebrate the one-year
anniversary of the ADPKD
Registry last month. We have
learned so much from the people in our community who
have signed up to tell us about their experiences with PKD.
Most recently, we worked with researchers to create two new
surveys asking about liver cysts/polycystic liver disease, and
aneurysms. We know that people with PKD are experts in
their own disease, and we are so fortunate to be able to learn
directly from them. If you're a participant, thank you for
contributing to PKD research. If you haven't yet signed up,
