Ezra Levine was married to Katie Levy on
Oct. 29, 2016 in New York, with several HM
friends in attendance. In fact, Ezra included
eight Horace Mann School friends in his
groomsmen's party. Included in the photo are
Josh Grosbard, Jeff Witten, Jason Hochman,
Blake Halperin, David Nathan, Jensen Lowe,
Mark Tannenhauser, and brother Judah
Levine '04, who are celebrating along with
father, Rabbi Robert Levine (center). Ezra
graduated from the University of Michigan and
earned his MBA from NYU Stern. He is a Senior
Financial Analyst covering the consumer
sector for Hilltop Park Associates, an investment manager. His bride, Katie, is a third year
law student at NYU and will be an associate at
Millbank, Tweed, Hadley, & McCloy LLP.

Justin Hauser

one of my life's
dreams of
finishing the
Ironman World
Championship in
Kona, Hawaii. As I

investment banking and private equity Justin
founded and launched Life Capital in May 2016.
He describes Life Capital as "a progressive
holding company focused on building a
portfolio of recurring cash businesses and
using business as a force for good." He is
hoping that "every company we build out of Life
Capital will be a B Corp. We have two concepts
already capitalized: a sustainable fast casual
sushi concept (we raised money for 10
locations) and a single high-end omakase
concept (we raised money for one location).
Both will open on 28th and Broadway in spring/
summer 2017. We also have a real estate
platform and two hotel opportunities that we
are currently diligencing." Justin inspired
audiences in October 2016 at a Startup 101
event in NYC as a speaker on Startup Funding
101: How to Raise Capital for Your Idea. http://

physical endurance activities Justin's next
dream is to climb Mt. Everest with a target
date of spring 2018, as, he wrote, "there are a
few prerequisite climbs I must complete first."
Charlotte Vaughn
Raines is appearing
regularly as a dancer,
actor and singer in
New York and
regionally. She
recently appeared as
a lead dancer in a Long 2 (pre-professional
modern dance company) premier in Brooklyn,
and earlier in concert with the Alvin Ailey
Extension. She also choreographed for XYZ
modern dance company. Charlotte was
featured on the Web Series "We The Internet"
in the sketch "How to Get Affordable
Healthcare." She performed in the HMTC's
Alumni Dance Concert in spring 2015 and 2016
and was cast in a film short using her combat

Actor-director
Phoebe Brooks
starred as
Rosencrantz in the
Adirondack
Shakespeare
Company's (ADKS)
production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern
are Dead while also appearing as Rosencrantz
in the company's Hamlet in fall 2016. Brooks is
in her third season with the Schroon Lake, N.Y.
company that tours throughout the

Adirondacks. In January 2017 she was
featured in the Corpse Revival Performance
Series' "Like Clockwork." She has performed
with Rebel Theater, Teatro Local and Cradle
Theater Co. and in the ensemble cast of the
Horace Mann Theatre Company's Alumni
(HMTCA) production of Assassins in June
2016. She has directed shows at FringeNYC,
The Clemente and Dixon Place and will direct
the HMTC Alumni Play in June 2017. Brooks
holds a BA in Theater and English Literature
from Northwestern University. Dana Covo
graduated from Emory University in 2013 and
has been working in the Asset Management
Division at JP Morgan in N.Y. for four years.
Stephanie Nass is
also known today as
"Chefanie." A chef
and caterer, Nass
designs the innovative "Chefanie Sheets"
(http://www.
chefanienass.com/shop) that quickly make any
cake an artistic masterpiece. Stephanie is the
chef for Victory Club (http://www.victoryclubny.
com), a supper club she founded while in
culinary school at the International Culinary
Center in SoHo, where she studied after
completing her degree in Art History at
Columbia. A membership organization that
gathers young professionals over the culinary
and visual arts in NYC and around the world,
each Victory Club menu, which Chefanie
herself paints, is directly inspired by art. While
cooking for Victory Club events, Stephanie
started experimenting with #ChefanieSheets,
edible textiles she designs to make ordinary
grocery-bought or box-made cakes into works
of art. Her invention has been covered by the
New York Times, Vogue, Town & Country and
many more. "Chefanie" also offers culinary
instruction and catering in and around NYC.
Jake Perlman lives in West Hollywood and is
Executive Assistant in Talent and Casting at
Showtime Networks, where he "is working on
every current series on air and in development." Jake maintains The Skinny Couch
Potato, his health and wellness website for
entertainment junkies (and others) www.
skinnycouchpotato.com. Lucas (Luke) Ingram
spent Super Bowl LI behind the scenes as part
of the production team for the pre-game and
half-time shows. He has recently worked as the
Assistant Art Director for the 70th Annual Tony
Awards, in production at the 2016 Democratic
National Convention, and on the 2016 MTV
Video Music Awards. Other Credits include the
68th and 69th Annual Tony Awards as Art
