the death of Larry Shapiro of Park Ridge, N.J.

memorialized at that dinner by classmates, including his close friend
Allan Daniel '51 who wrote: " ... He and I reacquainted about 24 years
ago when he and his wife Diana moved into our town house complex in
northern New Jersey. He and I played poker once a week, and Kendra

and Larry. Larry was a special person: strong and determined but with
a good heart. He was dedicated to his family, including Stella, the dog.
He had personal style, always dressing elegantly. He loved his business,
guiding its expansion over the years, especially when the business took
him to Atlantic City or Las Vegas for an after work, all-night poker game.
And he was a world class raconteur, recalling all the friends and teachers at HM with affection. He is sorely missed."

Jonathan, grandson Jack, and his dog Stella. He was predeceased by his
brother P.P. Sheppe '49.
