Stir up some Dinosaur Munchies! D o you ever help someone in your family cook? If you don’t, you’re missing out on lots of fun (and, sometimes, some delicious spoons to lick). Here’s a recipe you can make without much kitchen supervision — if your parents say it’s OK, of course. Gather up all your ingredients before you begin so you’ll know you have everything you need — then get ready to stir up this fun, quick snack! In the saucepan, mix dirt (cocoa), swamp water (milk), crushed bones (sugar) and fat (margarine) together in the bowl. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add dry grass (quick cooking oats), muddy water (vanilla) and squashed bugs (crunchy peanut butter) to mixture in saucepan. Stir until bugs dissolve. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper; let cool completely before munching! Buddy Bear’s Word Watch ry your hand at my monthly word watch. It’s easy. I’ll list three words for you to find.
