Best of W Electric Co-op:________________________________________ 2012 hen the annual Best of Rural Missouri Readers’ Choice Contest began a decade ago, it was a statewide contest to find the best rural eateries, destinations and activities in our great state. Four years ago, we shook things up a bit by breaking the state into regions, which allowed your local — but perhaps lesser known — favorites to earn time in the spotlight. Now, we’re going back to how it all began with a state, wide contest to truly find the best of the best. In 2012, we’ll name a winner and runner-up in each category below, along with an editor’s choice. Best of all, you have the opportunity to win a , Best of Missouri gift basket valued at $500! So, get out your pen or get online and voice your opinion. Vote in as many or as few categories as you like, but only ballots with at least 10 votes will be eligible for the prize drawing. No purchase necessary. One entry per person. Ballot must be postmarked by Jan. 6, 2012. Drawing will be held Jan. 13, 2012. (Note: Your address will not be used for anything other than this contest. Winners will be notified by phone. Employees of electric cooperatives and their immediate families may vote, but they are not eligible for the drawing.)
