Rural Missouri - August 2013 - (Page 42)

H i friends! I hope many of you are planning to come to the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia, Aug. 8-18. When you do, stop by the Missouri’s Electric Cooperatives Building and see me, Buddy Bear, daily at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.! But before you come to the fair, color my picture below, cut it out and fill in the information at the bottom. Bring it with you and put your entry into the special entry box in the youth area of the co-op building. At the end of the fair, we’ll draw 11 names, and those kids will be mailed a stuffed Buddy Bear! NOTE: This coloring contest is for kids ages 3-12. Congratulations to July’s Word Watch winners: Chaz Pendley, Sheila Zimmerman, Jordan Harris and Preston Bowers. Each youth won a Buddy Bear backpack for telling us where they found each word and the word’s meaning. Be sure to look on this page in the September issue for a new Word Watch contest. 42 WWW.RURALMISSOURI.COOP http://WWW.RURALMISSOURI.COOP
