THE AFRICAN AMERICAN
HERITAGE MUSEUM provides
information depicting the evolution
of Afro-American historical heritage
and culture through maps and reading
materials. The museum houses
displays of artifacts, crafts, and AfroAmerican
art featuring artists and
writers in the county.
BENNETT CLASSICS
ANTIQUE AUTO MUSEUM houses
around 70 vehicles including a lot of
unrestored original Model T's to Mack
trucks, a Shelby mustang, to the retired
Forest City American Fangranc Fire
Truck. Also included is a new addition
1963 Ford Mayberry Sheriffs car signed
by Don Knots (AKA Barney Fife) which
is a must see. The museum is about
preserving the automobile history
for generations of the past, present,
and future.
THE HOLOCAUST MUSEUM
includes over six hundred pieces
of art, each showcasing the time of
the holocaust. Every piece of art is
handpicked to tell the story and to bear
witness to the history and evidence of
the Holocaust and the Jewish people.
Exhibits in the museum share eyewitness
testimonies from Holocaust survivors
and the atrocities that they suffered.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY
FARM MUSEUM is a treasure chest
to the past, the museum exhibits
hundreds of historic items reflecting life
on the farm and in textile mills in late
18th and early 19th century. Displayed
artifacts include antique farm and
textile equipment, plus household items
used throughout the long history of
Rutherford County. In addition, 200
feet of murals depict the cycle of cotton
production and textiles in the county.
