Benefits U is a new section of MOMENTUM designed
to make students aware of the various benefits they
are entitled to as SAE Student Members.

ENGINEERS WEEK

AEROTECH
Aerotech is March 17-19, 2020 in Pasadena, Calif., and as a student
member, you can attend for just $25 (includes access to technical
presentations, keynote and plenary session, exhibit, reception(s) on
the exhibition floor, refreshment breaks, Proceedings, and networking
opportunities. *Lunches not included). This is a great opportunity to
network with some of the best minds in the aerospace industry. Check

SAE AERO DESIGN EAST

Celebrate being an engineer this month! February 16-22
is Engineers Week, and we'll be discussing automated
vehicle technology in Member Connection (connection.
sae.org/home). We're awarding a $100 Amazon gift card
each day for the best answer submitted, and ultimately
a $500 Amazon gift card for the best answer of the five
winners. Be sure to check into Member Connection every
day that week to see the daily questions.

CAREER COUNSELOR SERIES
Getting ready for a job interview? Have a big
presentation at a CDS competition? Check out the
Career Counselor Series (connection.sae.org/careercounselor). These soft-skills videos were developed
in response to students who wished to learn how to
conquer the fear of presenting in public. Since then, we
have created a total of 12 episodes on topics such as
time management, generations in the workplace, and
most recently, the importance of building relationships in
the workplace, and collaboration. The Career Counselor
series is free with your membership. We are always
looking to add new topics and episodes. Have a topic in
mind? Email membershipteam@sae.org.

MOMENTUM

The Membership Team will be onsite at the SAE Aero Design East
competition March 6- 8 in Lakeland, Fla. Be sure to come find us and ask
us any questions you might have about your membership, or tell us your
ideas for new benefits and activities. Student Membership, after all, is for
you, to provide you with tools to become the best engineer you can be.

STUDENT POSTER COMPETITION
Calling all students to share your latest research at the 1st annual SAE
Brake Colloquium Poster Competition in San Antonio. In addition to a
cash prize, this is a great opportunity to showcase yourself and present
technology to industry professionals as well as have private networking
opportunities with executives. Posters will be displayed in the exhibit
hall, and a diverse panel of industry leaders will be on-site to review and
provide feedback on your display. SAE will provide a blank poster board
